Dr. 김민승 of 아이니클리닉 presented on the injectable collagen product Retigen at the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology and Trichology.
Dr. Kim explained, "If collagen is directly injected into the skin, the replenishing effect can be maximized." He emphasized that safety with minimized immune reactions is important during product development.
Retigen, sold by Korea Pharvis Pharmaceutical, is a Type I collagen purified through a special process. It uses only collagen without other additives such as sodium chloride, resulting in fewer side effects. Its transparent appearance is a key differentiator from existing products.
